"PROGRESSIVE CONSTRUCTION LTD August 29, 2011 Reference for Gail Seymour To Whom it may concern, Gail Seymour was the selling agent engaged to sell a unit owned in the “The Sakura” building at 1333 West 11th Avenue, Vancouver, in April 2011. The unit was a rental unit. The task was a challenge as there were three competing units for sale in the building at the time, particularly in a building that had above market condo fees with little or no amenities, other than above average location and views. Gail conducted open house viewings herself rather than delegating what is typically an unrewarding task, providing weekly feedback as to the number of viewings and gauging the level of interest. Her research of the overall market and recommendation as to listing price and expectation of ultimate selling price was uncannily accurate. What was most impressive was Gail’s tenacity and enthusiasm when it appeared that the listing was perhaps getting “stale”. The ultimate buyers were very particular and even though the property managers had “refreshed” the unit (complete re-paint, fix/ repair all appliances, lights, etc.,) there were a number of fussy items the buyers requested be fixed prior to closing. Gail took the initiative and arranged for all the items to be fixed to the satisfaction of the buyers. When the buyers requested a move-in date prior to closing, Gail took care of all the paperwork and oversaw the physical move-in to protect the buyer and the seller. Above all the unit sold in 8 weeks for the price Gail thought she could achieve, which is the ultimate test. I would not hesitate to use Gail again should the occasion arise.
